Does Pewbeam work with EasyWorship?
Yes. Add Pewbeam as an NDI source inside EasyWorship.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel directly within the Pewbeam app under Settings > Account > Payment details, or by signing into your account at pewbeam.com and navigating to the Billing or Subscription section.
How do I remove my card from my account?
Open Pewbeam and go to Settings > Account > Payment details, then remove your card details from there. You can also do this by signing into pewbeam.com and managing your billing section.
How do I switch from yearly to monthly billing?
Visit pewbeam.com/pricing, select your plan, and use the Duration dropdown to choose your preferred billing period before completing your purchase.
How do I use my Pewbeam license on a different device? (Plus users)
Go to Settings > Account on your current device and click Deactivate device. This removes the license from that device. Then download Pewbeam on your new device, click Enter a License Key to activate, enter your key exactly as provided including all hyphens, and click Activate.
Note: Pewbeam Plus allows activation on one device at a time, so you must deactivate on your current device before activating on a new one.
Does Pewbeam support multiple languages?
Yes. Language packs are available for French and Spanish, enabling transcription and Bible verse display in those languages. Bible translations in Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba are also available for download. More languages are in the pipeline.
Can Pewbeam display song lyrics?
Lyrics support is currently in the pipeline and will be available soon.
Can Pewbeam work offline?
Bible search and verse display work fully offline on any device. Live transcription requires an internet connection by default. Users can switch to offline transcription mode in Settings > Audio, which works without internet. Mac users require macOS 12 (Monterey) or later with Apple Silicon (M1 or later). Windows users require a 64-bit x64 processor. Offline transcription is available on Plus and Core plans.
Can Pewbeam switch Bible translations mid-sermon automatically?
Yes. If the pastor references a different translation by name while preaching, for example "give me that in NLT", Pewbeam detects this and automatically switches the displayed translation on screen without any input from the media team.
My laptop is freezing during service. Is that a Pewbeam issue?
A completely frozen laptop is typically a device or system issue rather than a Pewbeam issue. Try closing other running applications before service, restarting the laptop fully rather than waking from sleep, and checking available storage and RAM.
I am not receiving my password reset email. What do I do?
Make sure you are using the exact email tied to your Pewbeam account. Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders. If it still does not arrive, reach out to our support team at hi@pewbeam.com.
I registered with the wrong email address. What do I do?
Contact our support team at hi@pewbeam.com with your correct email address and we will update your account.
Is my sermon data stored or sent anywhere?
Sermon transcripts are stored locally on your device and never uploaded. Online transcription audio is processed by Deepgram and is not stored. Sermon notes generation sends transcript text to OpenAI for processing. Anonymous usage analytics can be toggled off in Settings.
