Pewbeam is an AI-powered presentation agent that helps churches run seamless services without manually managing every slide. It detects Bible verses in real time during sermons and displays them on screen. It listens to the sermon, identifies scripture references, whether quoted directly or paraphrased, and displays the matching verse on your screen via broadcast outputs (NDI, HDMI, or in-app preview).

How Pewbeam Works

Pewbeam combines speech-to-text transcription with automatic Bible verse detection powered by Artificial Intelligence. Here is what happens behind the scenes:
- Audio capture: Pewbeam captures audio from your selected microphone or audio device.
- Live transcription: The audio is transcribed in real time using Deep gram (online).
- Verse detection: The transcript is processed for Bible references using Direct reference detection and Semantic search across 31,000+ verses.
- Display: Detected verses appear in Recent Detections, where you can stage them in Preview, send them live, or add them to the Queue.
Direct references appear almost instantly. Semantic matches usually arrive within a few moments of the spoken words.
