Broadcast Outputs (NDI & HDMI)

NDI (Network Device Interface)

NDI lets you send Pewbeam's output to any NDI-compatible software on your network, including OBS, vMix, Resolume, ProPresenter, and more.

When enabled, Pewbeam appears as an NDI source named Pewbeam main (or Pewbeam alternate for the second channel). Simply add it as a source in your broadcast software.

• Supports alpha transparency for overlays
• Configurable frame rate: 24, 30, or 60 FPS
• Resolution options: 720p, 1080p, or 4K
• Both devices must be on the same network for NDI to work

HDMI Output

Send your verse display directly to a projector or external monitor via HDMI.

1. Connect your external display to your laptop.
2. Open the Outputs panel from the Outputs icon at the top of the app.
3. Select your target monitor from the dropdown.
4. Enable the output.

Pewbeam opens a fullscreen, borderless window on the selected display. It will not open on your primary laptop display to prevent accidentally covering your workspace.

Multi-Channel Broadcasting

Multiple Output Channels

On paid plans, Pewbeam supports up to 4 output channels. Each channel can have its own theme, or mirror another channel's theme if you want the same look across multiple outputs.

Configuring Your Output

Open the Outputs panel for additional controls:

• Output channels: Configure the main output and add additional channels.
• Theme selection: Choose which theme each output channel uses.
• Output type: Choose External Display/HDMI or NDI for each channel.
• NDI settings: Set resolution, frame rate, and alpha channel mode.
• External display settings: Select the target monitor and open or close preview output.
